Z415R03/R04 Gastight Cutting Device
The Z415R03/R04 gastight cutting device has been specially designed to recover SF6 from hermetically sealed switchgear or with fittings too restrictive to allow complete recovery when decommissioning. Prior to such a device being available, large amounts of SF6 have been emitted to the atmosphere because gas recovery simply wasn’t
possible. With new mandates and regulations it is more important than ever to capture all SF6 from decommissioned switchgear.
By attaching the Z415 to a flat surface, boring a hole, and connecting to a gas recovery system, the SF6 can easily be removed. Both versions of the Z415 (R03 & R04) include a stencil, hard metal cutter, weld-on mounting studs, as well as a carrying case. In addition to the items above the Z415R03 also includes a stud welding machine and studs.
