SF6 Multi-Meter 3-038-R02x
Description
For successful SF6 Gas Recycling and Reuse it is essential to know three impurity values. These are:
- Purity of SF6 Gas
- Moisture Content
- Concentration of SF6 Decomposition Products
The new DILO SF6 Multi-Meter can analyze those three values, therefore providing a very convenient way to determine the reusability of SF6 gas and on-site validation of recycling efforts.
The 3-038-R02x Multi-Meter has been developed as an improved successor to our 3-036-R050 Multi-Meter. The new 3-038-R02x is more affordable, smaller and packs more features than its predecessor.
Details
The 3-038-R02x Multi-Meter contains three analyzer modules which determine the SF6/N2-Air concentration, the moisture saturation and the SO2 content. (SO2 concentration is used to determine the overall level of SF6 decomposition by-products)

The determined values are displayed on a sunlight readable LCD display. Each measurement can be archived and recalled to an internal database. A standard USB port allows easy transfer of stored results to any PC spreadsheet application.
Designed as a field usable instrument the 3-038 is built very sturdy, comes in a very rugged protective case and can be powered by its rechargeable battery pack without the need of AC line power supply on site.
Operation
The 3-038-R02x is designed to be connected directly to a gas compartment whose SF6 Gas quality needs to be determined. The device therefore comes with necessary connection hoses and with standard DILO SF6 Gas Valves. Adapter Kits to other gas connections is available separately from DILO.
After establish a connection the operator will need to establish the gas flow using a built in gas flow meter and "start" the analyzing process.
The Device will now run through the required steps automatically and display the measured values on the LCD display after a short processing time (typically 2 - 6 minutes).
The operator can now store the results to the device.
